Lantern Hill is a luxurious 20-acre continuing care retirement community located in Union County, New Jersey in the borough of New Providence.

We are hiring an Intermissions Associate who can bring their gift of compassion to our residents and family members who deal with the challenges of dementia.

How you will make an impact :

  • Co-leading social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.
  • Adopting a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident.
  • Designing and implementing creative programming.
  • Assisting in program operation by leading activities and transporting residents to and from programs.
  • Engaging in mealtime preparations.
  • Completing daily attendance records.

Schedule :

Monday - Friday 8 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM

What you will need :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings / weekends.
